Corruption
- Story Tags:
This is a fun one. First, determine player order. We usually go clockwise around the campfire.
The starting player makes a wish. The next player corrupts that wish, turning it into a (humorous) nightmare instead, and then makes a wish themselves. The next player corrupts that wish, and so on, round and round.
Get creative. Get fun with it. Add that special "twist"... of the knife. Heh.
Example:
Player 1: "I wish for a million trillion dollars."
Player 2: "You wish is granted, and million trillion dollars begins raining down on you from the sky. Unfortunately, each dollar is one of those new dollar coins, and they all seem to be aiming right at you. At first pelting you painfully on the head, they miss and hit all parts of your body as you dash around and try to dodge the coins. In just a few minutes, the coins are four feet deep. You try first slogging through them and then a kind of swimming motion, but the metal is just to heavy. Soon, you are buried in a mountain of coins over 2 miles high and with a base covering 12 acres of land. A windfall for others, now grabbing as many coins as they want, you are crushed to death under a million trillion dollars."
Player 2: "I wish for an ever-full mug of delicious beer."
Player 3: "Your wish is granted..."
And onward it goes. It's kind of like playing the devil in the details. A popular and fun chat game around the campfires, suggested by our own Belial Foulsbane. Enjoy!
